Since its inception, Center Stage Jackson has expanded beyond traditional plays and musicals and typically produces an annual cabaret, a youth singing competition, a number of staged readings, and two youth theater productions (a play and a musical).

Bright Walls is a public art and mural festival founded and run by the Jackson Young Professionals. In just two years, the festival has hosted artists from across the globe and brought 36 murals to the downtown district — creating a new destination in our community.
The Michigan Theatre, the last and largest theatre built in downtown Jackson, opened April 30, 1930. It was built for the mainstream popular entertainment of the day — vaudeville and movies.
