The BIPOC Project

The BIPOC Project aims to build authentic and lasting solidarity among Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC), in order to undo Native invisibility, anti-Blackness, dismantle white supremacy and advance racial justice. 

State Voices - Michigan Voice

State Voices -Michigan Voice is a state-based collaboration formed to improve long-term coordination and communication among 501(c)(3) civic and voter engagement organizations in Michigan. The collaboration’s nonpartisan mission is to engage traditionally underrepresented and marginalized communities (people of color, single women, youth, and low-income individuals) in the democratic process to create a more accessible, inclusive, and representative government.

Tribal Equity Toolkit

Tribal Equity Toolkit 3.0:  Tribal Resolutions and Codes to support Two Spirit & LGBTQ Justice in Indian Country.  Chippewa (Ojibwe), Ottawa (Odawa), and Potawatomi (Bodawotomi) make up the three Michigan Tribes known as the Three Fires Council, and these resolutions cover Same Sex marriage, Fostering and Adoption as same sex couples, Identity Documents and name changes and more.
